Live, work and play on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Join an expanding Health Service with a culture of innovation, education, training and research, with facilities across the Sunshine Coast including the University Hospital at Birtinya.
The Queensland ieMR solution replaces paper-based clinical charts and medical records, allowing healthcare professionals to update and share medical information securely and seamlessly across the state. The ieMR is a strategic investment to improve patient care, underpinning the broader Queensland digital health agenda. It is core to enabling improved clinical collaboration, new models of care across the state, delivering efficiency gains and supporting best practice clinical care and research.
The ieMR Hub and Spoke Project will implement ieMR functionality at peripheral sites (spokes) within an HHS where the main hospital (hub) is currently live with ieMR. This includes SCHHS expanding to Caloundra, Maleny and Gympie with hub sites being SCUH and Nambour. Implementation of the ieMR will reduce the disparity in digital capability between the regional HHS hubs and their rural and remote healthcare sites that still operate using hybrid or paper-based processes. This will thereby decrease unnecessary administrative burdens on clinical workflows and clinical risk.
