Senior Corporate Counsel Role

You will work closely with the General Counsel providing commercial and pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of matters that directly impact business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements.
* Providing commercial and solutions-focused legal advice on issues including employment law, privacy, competition, safety, and regulatory compliance.
* Identifying and managing legal risk across business operations.
* Supporting on disputes and litigation, including oversight of external counsel.
* Monitoring legislative changes and communicating key impacts to internal stakeholders.
* Delivering internal legal training to enhance risk awareness and compliance.
* Building relationships across the business and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
Requirements:
* At least 7 years' PQE in corporate and commercial law.
* A background in private practice or in-house (litigation or transactional).
* A current Victorian practising certificate.
* Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* A proactive, practical and commercially driven mindset.
Litigators with strong commercial judgment are particularly encouraged to apply.
