About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team at Campaspe Shire Council. As a member of the Infrastructure Directorate, the Engineering Coordinator will provide strong and dynamic leadership to the teams within Engineering as well as assist in the delivery of Council's capital works, and assets renewal and upgrade programs.
The Engineering Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Undertake civil engineering investigations, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates of works to achieve the objectives of the Council's Capital Works program.
• Ensure that all works documentation is complete, accurate and in accordance with Regulatory, Council and Quality System requirements and submitted within required timeframes.
• Assist the Manager Engineering in the delivery of major infrastructure programs.
• Assist in the cost estimate, data collating and scoping for externally funded projects.
• Oversee and approve activities performed by the Design, Infrastructure and Road Services Teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years' experience in the fields of principal design, construction, and project management fields.
• Nationally Registered Engineer (NER) with Engineering Australia.
• Excellent technical skills - computer literate with extensive experience with 12D, and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated history of strong leadership skills of managing professional staff and consultants.
• Knowledge and experience in managing projects from start to end.
• Construction Induction Card.
• A valid Driver's Licence.
• A satisfactory National Police Check.
• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
