Financial Leadership Role
The Finance Director plays a crucial role in the Senior Management Team, leading the Finance Department and contributing to the company's success and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develops and facilitates delivery of the financial strategy and operational plans and related programs
* Ensures alignment to company strategic and operational priorities
* Provides effective insight, informed decision making, and commercial acumen for the company and its related entities
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in financial management, accounting, management accounting, and statutory, taxation, and audit compliance. They should also have experience in the civil construction, infrastructure, or similar industry.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and associated practices
* Experience in strategic planning, organisational governance, and risk management
* Able to demonstrate strong business acumen and commercial thinking
* Strong capability in stakeholder engagement and management, including at director level
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experienced in supporting change and developing people and teams to improve capability
* Expertise in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting (intermediate to advanced)
