About the role Provide integrated, patient-centred, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services across a diverse and complex range of patient conditions within SVHS inpatient rehabilitation services Operate under direct supervision of a Senior Occupational Therapist. The level of direct clinical supervision will depend on your clinical experience and the task Work within a multi-disciplinary team managing novel and complex cases such as NDIS Participate in workplace education, quality improvement activities and relevant research Assist in developing policies and procedures, and in supervising Occupational Therapy students Depending on your caseload, work in other clinical areas to ensure hospital wide clinical demand is met About you Qualified and AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist Clinical experience in sub-acute rehabilitation services or ability to apply a transferable skillset from other clinical experiences Confident in applying clinical reasoning in a fast-paced, clinically complex, multidisciplinary environment A natural communicator who builds strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike Able to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Committed to continuous improvement and contributing to quality initiatives and evidence-based practice Able to complete weekend work as part of a flexible working roster for a seven-day service Why work at St Vincent’s?
