Overview
As a Finance Executive at Zenskar, you will own day-to-day financial operations — from bookkeeping and statutory compliance to vendor payments and audit support. You\'ll work closely with the founding team to keep the financial backbone of a rapid-scaling Series A startup running cleanly, while building the processes and discipline that will support our next phase of growth.
This is not a siloed accounting role. You\'ll have direct visibility into how a venture-backed SaaS company manages its finances across India and the US, and you\'ll be expected to flag issues proactively, not just process transactions. If you\'re looking for a seat where you learn fast and your work matters from Day 1, this is it.
What you\'ll do
1. Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping — AP, AR, invoicing, collections, and bank reconciliations
2. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Zoho Books and QuickBooks across India and US entities
3. Own the document repository for all payables and receivables — contracts, invoices, receipts, POs
4. Handle credit card reconciliation and expense tracking
5. Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, advance tax, and other statutory requirements
6. Support monthly close, audits, tax filings, and financial documentation for internal and external stakeholders
7. Coordinate with the CA firm, banks, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and close open items
8. Build and maintain templates, checklists, and SOPs that make finance operations repeatable as the company scales
The impact you\'ll make
9. Every invoice, reconciliation, and filing you handle directly supports the company\'s financial hygiene — founders and investors see this work
10. The processes and SOPs you build now will become the foundation of Zenskar\'s finance function as the team grows from 60 to 150+
11. You\'ll gain first-hand exposure to how a US-headquartered, India-operated SaaS company manages cross-border finance
