**The role**:
Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, the CHPP Team Leader will lead a small team of technicians and trades in ensuring the safe and efficient running of the plant through the shift. Your expertise will contribute directly to the safety and efficiency of our mining activities, making you an essential part of our mission to uphold the highest standards. Your efforts will be pivotal in delivering maximum benefit to the operation. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Leading a multi-disciplined team to effectively operate the CHPP
- Responding to plant breakdowns and process interruption in an efficient manner
- Ensuring effective management of stockpiles
- Monitoring coal qualities and respond effectively to quality deviation**About you**:
You are experienced in the operation of coal or mineral process plants with the ability to lead an effective team- Be committed to high standards of integrity, safety and performance
- 3 + years' experience in a similar role in a coal or mineral processing environment.
- Knowledge of the risk management process
- Proven leadership capabilities and ability to lead a multi-disciplined team
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across all departments
