The Requirements & Capability Function is seeking a Customer Account Manager to grow our Joint, Air & Space business.
You will provide subject matter expertise in relation to the identification, pursuit, management, and growth of business within the Joint, Air & Space Domain. Reporting to the Chief of Requirements & Capability, this role will be responsible for providing strategic direction and advice to the Raytheon Australia Executive Leadership team and leading bid / pursuit teams in the identification, shaping, resourcing, bidding and offering solutions to customer needs, and the development of profitable opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of the Joint Air & Space Domain strategy in order to enable growth in line with the Company Long-Range Plan.
* Lead specific Captures as identified in the relevant Company Strategies and as directed by the Chief of Requirements and Capability.
* Lead allocated capture managers and teams in the implementation of campaign strategies and solicitation of responses to meet Domain-specific customer requirement.
* Engage and influence stakeholders in the Joint Air & Space Domain, both in Australia and Internationally, in support of specific Captures.
* Maintain and share a comprehensive Domain customer map and Domain customer contact plan.
* Exercise stewardship of Domain relationship management up-to and including 2-star uniformed personnel and Senior Executive Service band 2 / First Assistant Secretary (SES2 / FAS).
* Understand and where possible influence the budget planning cycle for the Domain to ensure funding is available for each acquisition in which the company has an interest.
* Articulate and prioritise Domain-related technical, organisational, operational, logistical, and training needs.
* Contribute to the development of any Intellectual Property (IP) requirements including IP management and Australian Industry Capability (AIC) development as directed.
* Travel may be required, both within Australia and internationally, to fulfil the requirements of this role.
* Utilise advanced analytical skills to manage and synthesise market, customer, and competitor intelligence to shape requirements and forecast market and business needs.
Skills and Experience:
* A Degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or equivalent.
* Demonstrated Domain knowledge and associated customer relationships.
* Experience in Managing US, Australian, and European export control processes and regulations.
* Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of, and manage components of, the Raytheon capture governance framework.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships and rapport with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
* Ability to support complex negotiations.
* Strong business acumen to define operational concepts in consultation with stakeholders, identify key concepts from customer documentation, and contribute to developing competitive solutions.
