Overview
We're seeking enthusiastic and customer-service focused individuals to join our Crown Sydney team as a Door Person. This is a full-time role that will see you providing exceptional customer service experiences for a variety of guests and visitors to Sydney's most luxurious hotel while managing the flow of traffic into the hotel driveway. As a senior team member, you'll work collaboratively with the Bell Services / Valet Attendants to extend a warm welcome upon guest arrival and a fond farewell as they depart. You'll also play a key part in ensuring smooth operations, particularly during busy periods such as promotions and peak trade.
What you'll do
* Manage driveway traffic flow to keep arrivals and departures safe and efficient
* Support Bell Services / Valet with guest arrivals, departures, luggage and vehicle coordination
* Deliver exceptional service to all guests, including VIPs, with discretion and professionalism
* Multitask confidently during peak periods and high guest volume
* Maintain strong local / product knowledge to answer guest questions and provide directions
What you'll need
* A valid, unrestricted NSW driver's licence
* Confidence driving / parking a range of vehicles (auto and/or manual)
* Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
* Experience in delivering high-end customer service (hotel / fast-paced environment ideal)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
* A "jump in and help" attitude with strong teamwork + autonomy
* Working Holiday Visa holders are encouraged to apply
