Based at Reception in the Community Centre of the Retirement Village you will provide a friendly and welcoming "front of house" approach to residents, families, visitors and staff.
**As a customer-focused Admin Assistant, your 'typical day' will have you**:
- Performing reception and administrative duties to meet customer needs
- Providing front of house customer service to the residents, visitors and staff
- Conducting orientation tours of the Village when delegated by the Village Manager
- Maintaining office inventory and resident database records
- Supporting in site recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, and assisting with employee onboarding and orientation
- Submiting resident move-in and departure information
- Liaising with the Retirement Living Accountant regarding resident fees and recharges
- Working with the Property Services personnel to ensure efficiiencies within the Village maintenance system
- Creating genuine connections with residents and staff
**To thrive in this role you will have**:
- Previous experience in administrative support or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various computer systems
- A high attention to detail, accuracy and effective time management skills
- A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with customers over the age of 55
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or a similar qualification
