About the Role
Here at Woolies we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition — this enables our customers and colleagues to experience a setting that is hygienically clean to work and shop in.
What You'll Do
* Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
* Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
* Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
* Carry out all pre‐start and handover routines for the vehicle
* Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
* Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
* May also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
* Receive full training and assessment in operating trolley collection vehicles
What You'll Bring
* An ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people
* Must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian driver's licence, a Provisional P2 driver's licence (Green P Plates), or a full International driver's licence
* Physical fitness is essential for transitioning from driving to the physical work of collecting and loading trolleys
* Availability to work Monday‐Sunday, with shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
* A robust work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
