Strength & Conditioning Coach – Premium Small-Group Gym (Career Pathway)
What it Feels Like to Be A Part of Habitual
Picture this: you walk into a coaching role that actually feels like a place you want to be.
The sessions have capped group sizes, the room has a calm but steady buzz, and you finally have the space to coach the way you've always believed coaching should be done.
You get to build real relationships.
You get to watch people progress week after week.
You actually feel the impact you're having, not just hope for it.
You're part of a team that shows up for each other and shares the load.
A team that backs your ideas, challenges you when you need it, and makes the hard days feel easier just by being the kind of people they are.
You're not battling chaos or yelling over a crowd anymore.
You're coaching with intention and presence, and it feels meaningful.
At Habitual, every session matters.
Members trust you.
They lean on you.
They stay because of the environment we create together.
If you're looking for a place where you can build a real coaching career, be part of something genuine, and grow with a team that actually feels like a team, this might be the right home for you.
About Habitual Strength & Conditioning
Habitual is a premium small-group strength & conditioning facility in Osborne Park built on one clear mission: helping everyday people become fit for life through real coaching, structure, and a community that actually cares.
We're not a nightclub-style gym with overcrowded classes.
We're intentional, personal, high-accountability, and built for long-term member success and long-term coach success.
We're now expanding our team and looking for a coach who wants to grow with us.
The Role
This is a casual/part-time coaching role with a clear pathway into part-time or full-time for the right person.
You'll coach 12-person S&C sessions that feel like personal training in a group setting; real cueing, real relationships, real impact.
This role suits someone who values high standards, mentorship, and connection over chaos and churn.
What you'll do
Coach high-quality small-group strength & conditioning sessions
Deliver hands-on cueing, clear instruction, and safe scaling
Build genuine relationships with members and support their progress
Contribute to our positive, connected team culture
Support events, Game Days, workshops, and member milestone moments
Participate in coaching development, feedback sessions, and team meetings
This is a role for someone who wants to coach with purpose and grow inside one organisation, not bounce between gyms.
Who You Are
You'll thrive here if you:
Love small-group coaching and real connection
Are reliable, professional, and emotionally intelligent
Want mentoring, structure, and a long-term coaching pathway
Value standards, communication, and consistency
Enjoy working in a tight-knit, connected team
Are excited by a premium, human-first environment
Want to be part of a growing ecosystem, not just coach hours
This is for the coach who wants a career, not a gig.
This probably isn't for you if:
You're looking for quick casual hours or free gym access
You prefer hype and chaos over calm, intentional coaching
You struggle with feedback or being held to a high standard
You're not interested in building long-term relationships
You don't see coaching as a craft worth developing
Requirements (must-haves)
Minimum Cert III in Fitness
Preferred: Cert IV, Exercise Science, or related degree
Current First Aid & CPR
Confident coaching within a strength & conditioning environment
Availability across early mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays
Eligible to work in Australia
Why You'll Love Working Here
Real coaching career pathway (casual ? part-time ? full-time)
Structured mentoring and feedback to develop your craft
Premium training environment with capped class sizes
A community that values coaching, not hype or chaos
A team culture where you feel valued, supported, and part of something
We're building a space where coaches can have long, meaningful careers, not burn out in 12 months.
