About the role
M&M PROJECTS NQ PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
* Performing a variety of carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, sheeting, and interior finish work
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
* Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Carpentry
* Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
* Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
