* Job Description: Manage the product development process for brands, coordinating with freelance sketchers, conducting research, and creating mood boards and color palettes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design execution management for key brands within a portfolio.
* Tech pack creation, editing, and management using templates.
* Client engagement to understand creative vision and translate into actionable plans.
* Product lifecycle management from sourcing to sampling.
* Approval timeline management for lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and bulk fabric confirmations.
* Technical development alignment across fit, construction, fabrication, stitch details, and trims.
* Garment measurement, fit issue identification, and construction challenge troubleshooting.
* Technical documentation maintenance for products, including spec sheets and quality control records.
* Grading spec drafting and approval for size consistency and vendor communication.
* Samples review, fit sessions leadership, and technical follow-ups with factories.
* Sample outcome summaries and fit comments to clients.
* Internal and client feedback alignment for final sample meeting brand visions.
* Quality control checks at all stages: initial sample, second round, pre-production, and top-of-bulk.
* Client style number documentation and sample library management.
* Supplier communication for smooth operations.
* Weekly production meetings with factories for project updates.
* Bulk production unit costs negotiation and target price communication to clients.
* Product margin calculation and advance client notification for PO placement.
* PO creation for client approval and factory production initiation.
* Production tracker management for visibility on fabric sourcing, sample rounds, ex-factory timelines, and shipment logistics.
* Production update sharing during internal team meetings.
* Factory liaison for critical path milestone adherence and production tracking.
* Milestone date adherence through master critical path spreadsheet oversight.
