Senior Associate Solicitor - Class Actions at Shine Lawyers. We are proud to have a strong Class Actions presence nationally, working to secure justice for our clients in high-profile class actions. The team is led by experienced practitioners and supported by a dedicated group of Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, and Senior Associates.
Responsibilities
- Manage the conduct of multiple class actions, using case plans and effectively delegating and supervising legal staff.
- Provide strategic advice and updates to Shine’s partnered litigation funders on budgeting for individual matters and portfolios.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with regular, clear communication and expectation management.
- Contribute to the origination and development of new class action opportunities.
- Contribute to case strategy, including involvement with expert evidence and investigations into current class actions, and supervise junior solicitors.
What you’ll bring
- Significant experience as a solicitor practising across complex commercial litigation and/or class actions.
- Desire to lead high performing legal teams.
- Strong legal analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage large volumes of complex documents and reports.
- Ability to manage the fiscal element of matters, including reporting to litigation funders and delegation of work within the team.
- Commitment to connect with colleagues and deliver exceptional results for clients.
