Assistant Body Corporate Manager – Maternity Leave 12‐month contract
Network Pacific Strata Management is looking for an assistant Body Corporate Manager to support a dynamic team in Queensland and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Organise strata management meetings and distribute notices of meeting.
* Organise minutes of strata management meetings and distribute minutes.
* Attend meetings and take minutes as required.
* Complete strata management documentation as required.
* Collect and process property information and reports as requested.
* Assist with preparation of correspondence for body corporate clients.
* Arrange for statutory notices to be issued.
* Liaise with committee members, owners and contractors as required.
* Assist with day‐to‐day management functions for a portfolio of clients.
* Promote and develop the business of Network Pacific Strata Management.
* Deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
Under instructions from a more senior person
* Prepare documentation for general meetings and committee meetings, including financial reports.
* Lodge claims via brokers and, where applicable, directly with the insurer.
* Obtain quotes for maintenance and repairs of properties and facilities.
* Prepare and distribute charge letters, including raising the relevant invoice in Stratamax.
* Prepare and issue charge dispute letters to MFB.
* Prepare and distribute circulars to residents of bodies corporate.
* Carry out other tasks lawfully instructed from time to time.
Work Experience & Skills
* At least one year of experience in the body corporate/strata management sector.
* Sound knowledge of the Body Corporate and Community Management Act and associated regulation modules.
* Proficiency in the StrataMax software package.
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Proven success in customer service and issue resolution.
* Strong IT skills.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Excellent time management and problem solving skills.
* Enthusiasm and self‐motivation with a desire to succeed in the strata management sector.
* Professional presentation.
* Current driver's licence.
* Police check prior to commencement.
