An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic individual with experience in quality improvement and management to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Quality Manager will facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital's clinical safety and quality framework.
As a Quality Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility wide quality improvement program and promote risk management to support the strategic direction
* Lead all accreditation processes
* Provide effective leadership in quality and risk management to assist Managers in continuously reviewing their practices
* Participate in clinical data collection, collation and analysis
* Coordinate case review investigations
* Coach and consult with Managers on quality improvements to build capacity and capability

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is an 84 bed, 7 operating theatres acute surgical hospital that serves the needs of the local community at Liverpool and surrounds. Services provided include Surgical Day Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Oncology Unit and a Mental Health Unit.

Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualifications in clinical and non-clinical disciplines
* Proven track record in implementing organisational wide initiatives and influencing teams to build a quality improvement culture
* Problem solving and analytical skills
* Knowledge of the ACHS Accreditation System against the National Standards (NSQHS)
* Innovation and creativity
* Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
* Educational and auditing skills
* Flexibility and openness to new ideas
