We support the development and growth of small business providing information, referrals and business advice, and deliver programs to address specific needs within the small business sector. About the Position

We are seeking an Administrative and Project Support Officer to join our Small Business Friendly State Government Approvals Program. This position is a fixed term contract at 0.8 FTE until 30 June 2027.

The Administrative and Project Support Officer provides administrative, procurement and project management support to the Government funded Small Business Friendly State Government Approvals Program. Reporting to the Approvals Program Manager, this role assists with general project management functions, including coordinating activities, resources, stakeholder engagement, record management, procurement tasks and expenditure tracking relating to the project.

Applicants assessed as suitable (but not recommended for appointment) during this selection process may be appointed to other similar fixed term or permanent (full-time or part-time) vacancies that may occur throughout the Corporation over the coming 12 months.

Selection Methodology

A variety of assessment methodologies may be used throughout the recruitment process, including:

* Interview
* Skills assessment
* Referee checks

The successful applicant will be required to submit a current National Police Clearance no later than six (6) months from date of issue.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.

* Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite 365 and record management systems.
* Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload within time constraints, with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently.
