About the role:
This permanent part-time position is based at our brand-new therapeutic home in Wagga Wagga for young people aged 12–18 living in Out of Home Care.
You’ll participate in a 24/7 rotating roster (mornings, afternoons, nights, and sleepovers) with your schedule provided 2 weeks in advance. We are offering 25-30 hours per week with an option to pick up extra shifts!
You’ll work closely with young people with complex needs, helping them heal, grow, and thrive through trauma-informed care and meaningful relationships. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or trauma is highly valued and will help you succeed in this role.
What we are looking for:
* Cert III, IV or Diploma in Community Services or Youth Work (or willingness to enrol)
* Experience working with young people facing emotional, behavioural, or social challenges.
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care.
* Ability to build trust, maintain boundaries, and use behaviour support strategies.
* Excellent report writing and safeguarding practices.
* Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence + comprehensively insured vehicle.
* Working With Children Check.
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
