Our Wetherhill Park Transitair division is a key HVAC+R equipment, overhaul, service and parts supplier to major Rail Transport authorities in NSW.
Your primary work location will be at our Wetherill Park NSW premises with site service work at our customers' facilities at various rail depots, primarily in the Sydney region, required at times.
Initial training will be provided, and the company will support all site induction and safety training requirements required when working off site Wetherill Park.
Working hours are normally from 6.00 am – 2.06 pm Monday – Friday, but you may be required to work outside these hours from time to time.
A suitable remuneration package, including a service vehicle, will be discussed with applicants at the time of interview.

Duties and responsibilities
* Fault find, diagnose, repair and replace components to ensure correct operation of HVAC systems.
* Follow instructions and work under guidelines set by management.
* Provide timely, efficient and reliable service and installations that meet Thermo King Rail Australia standards.
* Ensure work is completed in accordance with the quality standards of Thermo King Rail Australia and within appropriate timeframes while striving for high productivity.
* Be responsible for tools, consumables and spare parts that you use.
* Provide feedback to the supervisor on the progress of operational activities and potential obstacles that may prevent attainment of goals.
* Discuss queries with the supervisor as necessary regarding work schedules, status of completion and other problems promptly and timely.
* Complete job cards and time sheets at the end of each job and submit them to the supervisor in a timely fashion.
* Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and systems and strive for continuous improvement.
* Communicate effectively with staff, suppliers and customers where necessary.
* Work in a clean and organised environment.
* Work safely and abide by TKRA policies and procedures (and those of our customers if working off‐site).
Qualifications
* Refrigeration and air conditioning trade certificate and trade experience.
* Additional electrical qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.
* Must hold a current NSW driver's licence.
* Ability to read both electrical and refrigeration schematic drawings and diagrams.
* Standard working week is 38 hours – with flexible working times between 6.30 am and 3.00 pm (subject to change) as directed by the manager to meet customer requirements, plus the ability to work overtime.
