About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated workers to join our High Physical Support SDA team with a specialization in high-care environments. The ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for assisting individuals with high-care needs and will play a crucial role in providing personalized care to our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing person-centred support in high physical support SDA settings.
Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
Creating a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
Collaborating with clients, families, and support professionals to implement personalized support plans.
Monitoring and reporting on client progress and needs.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or related field.
Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
Experience in High Care including Peg & Rig Feeding.
Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities in a professional capacity.
To be Successful, You Should Possess:
Experience in SDA environments and with clients requiring high-care support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and families.
Positive and empathetic attitude, adaptable to individual needs.
Experience in mental health support is desirable.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
