About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Process Manager is responsible for managing all processing and maintenance activities within the processing department. The role provides leadership and direction in line with site requirements, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the mill at all times. This position is accountable for achieving steady-state operations in line with production requirements and targets.
The role is offered on an 8/6 BIBO from Perth.
About you:
- Proven experience in gold processing, including 5+ years at a managerial level, with a passion for leading and developing high-performing site teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire trust, engagement, and consistent performance.
- Experience in creating a stable team culture through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Strong working knowledge of gold processing with a practical understanding of mineral processing.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Proven ability to deliver results and drive productivity.
- High-level skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with incident investigation (ICAM or similar) and team-based risk assessments.
- Experience with SAP (Essential).
Essential Skills:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy or equivalent, or progress towards a Frontline management diploma or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge supporting processing operations.
- Operational experience within an Australian mining environment, supported by strong leadership skills.
- Project management skills.
