Job Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work with clients across the lifespan in settings including in-clinic, schools, homes, and via telehealth, depending on their needs. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication disorders
* Educate clients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and progress
* Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators) as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
* Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
* Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure) in [State/Province]
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or working toward it, if applicable)
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills across a range of speech and language disorders
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred
