About the Role
We currently have multiple casual Bus Driver positions at our Heatherbrae depot. We are looking for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community, delivering the best experience possible to our customers. We offer a 4 week paid driver training program that will build on your current heavy vehicle skills and knowledge to navigate the roads as a professional Bus Driver.

Rates
Rates: $41.01 per hour (Weekday). Shift loadings range from 15% to 100% depending on times of operation. $18.79 attendance allowance paid daily.

Hours
Hours of work vary by depot. Our casual drivers typically work a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon during the school term. In school holidays there is very limited work available. These hours are often suited to retirees re-entering the workforce or those seeking additional hours. It is a great opportunity for part-time workers wanting more hours.
Eligibility & Requirements
* A current and valid MR or above driver's licence
* A good driving history
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check
* Having a current NSW Driver Authority is highly desired (or be willing to obtain one)
Notes
Suitable applicants who do not have the required licence and authority may be offered: paid induction and mentor training; attendance at a Driver Authority Course with Busways and assistance with the application process.
