What You'll Do

The HR Business Partner will provide valued, respected and effective HR business partnering support to the allocated customer groups for Corporate Office and support the design (as relevant) and implementation of various Corporate Office wide HR initiatives and priority actions.


Key Responsibilities Include

* Forming and maintaining strong partnerships, and trusted relationships, across allocated customer groups to deliver value-added HR advisory services which support the achievement of the overarching Corporate Office and HR objectives as relevant.
* In alignment with the Wesfarmers Way, support, or lead when required, the design and development of policy, processes or frameworks and provide HR advisory services across the full team member lifecycle.
* In consultation with the HRO, identify ways in which existing processes can be streamlined and become more efficient, creating documentation and procedures for the effectiveness and sustainability of the HR function.
* Manage or support as required, the change management of new processes or ways of working which enhance the HR support and advice provided to the Corporate Office.
* Actively participate and contribute as a member of the HR team and broader Corporate Office, offering strategic and practical input from a people and culture perspective.
* Build capability of our leaders with a focus on performance, development and coaching.


What You'll Need

* Proven experience in HR Business Partnering, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
* Knowledge of organisation design, talent, and culture.
* Strong business acumen and understanding.
* Outstanding relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
* Experience objectively coaching employees and management through complex and difficult situations.
* Applied knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes for employment.
* Thorough understanding and hands‑on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices and standards.
* Tenacity and courage to lead change.
* Ability to build trusting and effective relationships quickly.

It leads capital allocation and portfolio management for the Group and focuses on leveraging and enhancing the Group's reputation to support attraction and retention of talent, securing investment opportunities and maintaining a low‑cost capital.
