**Location**:Perth Precinct, WA, AU
- Reporting into CI Product and After Market Manager, the **Technology Application Specialist will** join our team on a Full time basis at our Perth Precinct. This role involves providing Subject Matter Experts advice on all levels of new and existing technology that enables the highest possible market share with
- Caterpillar construction equipment.
**Roster**: Monday - Friday 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
**What You’ll Do**:
- Follow company safety procedures and practices to aim for zero lost time incidents.
- Schedule and coordinate machine familiarization internally and at the customer's job site to promote technology benefits and best practices.
- Lead Go-To-Market product trials and process validations, helping customers adjust and ensuring technology adds value.
- Support the CI Product Managers in the new construction equipment NPI process.
- Ensure quotes for the technology suite of products are explicit and accurate, including content, layout, and descriptions.
- Assist with commercial interactions from query to invoicing, including site assessments, quotes, bundling, installation guides, and ongoing transactions.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Trade Certification in Electrician, Mechanical Technician, Mechatronics Technician or similar that is recognised by Australian and WA trade
- Minimum 3 years' experience in OEM or similar environment
- Strong understanding of operational processes and technologies (e.g., IP networks, radio communications, on-board machine technology) with skills in solutions integration, troubleshooting, process mapping, and business analysis.
- Experience in earth moving or construction environment using technology products (e.g., Mining High Precision GPS, Construction Survey Systems, UTS).
- Experienced and proficient commercial acumen
- Proven excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
- Proven experience in providing technical training to stakeholders
