Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting an experienced HVAC Technician with industrial experience to maintain the HVAC systems at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane. The position ensures that systems in plant and associated buildings are maintained in line with equipment strategies and manufacturers' recommendations.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a HVAC Technician with a proven record in equipment maintenance, preferably in heavy industrial facilities or refineries, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills and an eye for detail in a fast‐paced environment.
As a vital part of a team that produces and distributes petroleum and oil lubricants within the energy sector across Brisbane, the greater Queensland region and Australia, you will support safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
* Implement safe work practices on site, ensuring the safety culture and behaviours align with company and client expectations
* Be fully engaged and knowledgeable in the collaborative tools to achieve an accident‐free workplace (JSA, SWMS, PTW)
* Ensure compliance with SWP for working at heights and scaffolding guidelines
* Ensure compliance with company and client work management processes
* Monitor and update maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment onsite
* Monitor HVAC inventory to ensure reliability of HVAC systems
* Responsible for complete HVAC systems inside and out
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC (domestic and predominantly industrial)
* Experience in recommending and overseeing plant site work execution and preparation to ensure flawless implementation/maintenance
* Manage inventory for all HVAC systems
* Local housekeeping, including waste management
* Fully competent knowledge of HVAC principles, along with multi‐manufacturer and types of HVAC systems
* Experience managing onsite sub‐contractors where required to execute work
Skills / Qualifications
* Electrical licence, A Grade
* Cert III Refrigeration / Air Conditioning and Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification
* Full Refrigerant Handling Licence
* Existing EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space accreditation preferred
* SAP experience considered favourably
* Valid Driver's Licence
