Job Description
We are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in Southeast Queensland (SEQ), due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business. These awards bring a secure 10-year pipeline of work, allowing us to base ourselves in either our Sunshine Coast or Brisbane offices.
The Water Infrastructure group provides services to internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors. We focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.
By joining our team, you will have access to mentoring and guidance from industry leading experts. You will also collaborate with interstate and international offices on various water infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the design on various water infrastructure projects, including networks and wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline
* Coordinating, managing, and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support
* Ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget
* Buidling and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams and project delivery
Qualifications
We seek candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications & RPEQ / CPEng
* Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment
* Experience in leading project / technical teams
* An interest in mentoring, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards
* Passion for delivering high quality work & excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills
