Decor Blinds & Shutters is a proud family owned business based in Seventeen Mile Rocks and is celebrating it's 41 years in business .
We design, manufacture, and install a wide range of premium indoor and outdoor window coverings, including plantation shutters, curtains, blinds, outdoor systems, and motorised solutions.
As a fast-growing company known for quality workmanship and outstanding service, we're expanding our in-house installations team. We take pride in doing things properly, no shortcuts—while maintaining a positive, fast-paced work environment where variety and job security come standard.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Installer who enjoys physical work and variety in their day. A trade or construction background is highly regarded, but not essential—we value attitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability just as much as experience.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Measuring & fitting all types of interior blinds
* Assisting with outdoor blind installations
* Installing curtains and curtain tracks
* Installing and setting up motorised products, including basic troubleshooting
You'll work directly with customers, so confidence, professionalism, and clear communication are essential. If you enjoy autonomy, variety, and being part of a tight-knit team, you'll feel right at home.
What We're Looking For
* Trade background (carpentry, cabinetry, construction, etc.) highly regarded
* Solid understanding of building fixings and construction methods
* Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
* Ability to problem-solve on the fly and work independently or as part of a team
