About the Role
The Administration Assistant is a self‑motivated, customer‑focused professional who provides comprehensive administrative and reception support across departments. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional presence at our front desk.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
* Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
* Direct incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of our products, processes, and systems.
* Maintain and organise company records, documents, and filing systems.
* Assist with data entry, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
* Provide assistance and product information to customers in the showroom.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in administration or reception, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
* Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience with Oracle systems (highly desirable).
* Keen eye for detail, multitasking, and a positive, problem‑solving attitude.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
* School leavers with a current driver's licence are encouraged to apply.
