Silverstone is looking to recruit a qualified and safety-focused NPI/Camp Electrician to join our mining clients team. This role will support electrical installation, testing, maintenance, and commissioning across a range of non-process facilities including accommodation villages, offices, workshops, site utilities, and services infrastructure.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Camp village maintenance
* Small electrical installs, smoke detectors, air conditioners, lighting, hot water systems, test and tagging, RCD checks, genset & bore pump change outs, cable splicing and commercial kitchen equipment repairs
* Maintenance of all non-process infrastructure
* Installation of new buildings and equipment
* Scoping and planning of upcoming works
* Completing statutory testing across site
Requirements
* Electrical Trade Certificate
* Mining experience including (Small electrical installs, smoke detectors, air conditioners, lighting, hot water systems, test and tagging, RCD checks, genset & bore pump change outs, cable splicing and commercial kitchen equipment repairs)
* Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
* High-risk work licences (EWP, Working at Heights, etc.) are advantageous
* Current Manual Drivers License
* National Police Clearance
* Prior mining experience working on non-process infrastructure & camp maintenance
* Be able to pass Pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screen
* Full Australian working rights
