About The Role
Are you hands-on, mechanically minded and ready to be part of a fast-paced team building high-quality ute trays, trailers and toolboxes? BOSS Engineering is currently seeking an Assembly Hand to join our growing BOSS Automotive division in Inverell. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for building tough, practical gear.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble ute trays, trailers, toolboxes, headboards and related components
- Fit ute trays and accessories to vehicles
- Carry out basic auto-electrical tasks (wiring harnesses, switches, lighting)
- Conduct pre-assembly of tray parts and ensure readiness for production
- Collaborate with your team to meet production goals and customer expectations
- Work to high safety, quality, and performance standards
What You’ll Bring
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Practical mindset with basic mechanical or electrical aptitude
- Robust communication and time management skills
- A team player who thrives under pressure and takes pride in their work
Hours
7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 1:00pm on Fridays. Overtime may be available based on production needs.
