Executive Culinary Director
About the Role:
The Executive Culinary Director is responsible for ensuring every meal meets our high standards of quality and care. This role plays a vital part in providing exceptional dining experiences while being mindful of individual dietary needs, preferences, and cultural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
* Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and excellence
* Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to HACCP and Food Safety guidelines
* Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
Requirements:
To be successful as our Executive Culinary Director, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or an equivalent qualification
* At least 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook Manager in a similar environment
* Excellent understanding of HACCP and Food Safety legislative requirements
* Strong budget management and cost control skills
