Michel Group Services is looking to employ a fulltime employee under the occupation of Civil Engineering Draftsperson offering a salary range of $76,515 to $80,000 per annum, plus 12% superannuation to the successful applicant.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our Gold Coast office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate technical drawings and documents to support our engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare sketches and survey plans with input from the survey team
* Interpret instructions and complete various drafting tasks
* Ensure compliance with current legislation and technical requirements
* Combine data from various sources and complete necessary calculations
* Create accurate drawings using AutoCAD, Terramodel, and Microsoft Office (with a focus on AutoCAD)
* Complete revisions and updates of drawings as necessary
* Maintain records and database of all drawings
* Complete quality assurance forms in accordance with company policy
* Assist surveyors in field tasks if the team is short-staffed
Qualifications:
* Advanced Diploma in Engineering or related field or equivalent qualification
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Terramodel and Microsoft Office
* Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings
* Strong understanding of technical requirements and legislation within the civil engineering industry
* Experience in Australia in surveying and/or engineering fields with valid working rights
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
