Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Casualty Underwriter to join our team in Sydney or Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years public/products liability underwriting experience, with a proven track record of developing strong market relationships and technical competence with large liability risks.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for underwriting a diverse portfolio of large and complex liability risks, mentoring less experienced staff, and building strong broker relationships across Australia. They will also be actively involved in driving production by focusing on profit and offering quality service to key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years public / products liability underwriting experience (liability broking and claims experience may be considered)
* Proven track record for developing strong market relationships
* Technically competent with large liability risks
