About the Role
As the State Compliance and Business Manager – VIC, you will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring our Victorian campuses operate with the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and compliance. This role provides strategic and hands‐on oversight across governance, risk, and compliance functions, supporting the long‐term sustainability of OneSchool Global in Victoria.
You'll work closely with state and national stakeholders, providing practical guidance and solutions across WHS, risk, finance, HR, IT, transport, insurance, and WWC compliance, while fostering a strong culture of governance and continuous improvement.
This role can be based at any of our Victoria‐based campuses.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across governance, risk, and compliance functions in Victoria.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, funding, and reporting obligations across all VIC campuses.
* Lead WHS, privacy, risk management, and compliance initiatives in line with best‐practice frameworks.
* Identify compliance gaps and implement practical, actionable remediation plans.
* Develop and deliver governance, risk, and compliance reporting to boards and senior stakeholders.
* Act as a key liaison between VIC campuses, the National Team, and external regulatory bodies.
* Embed a strong culture of compliance, accountability, and ethical practice across the state.
* Support and upskill leaders and teams through guidance, policy development, and compliance education.

About You
* Significant senior‐level experience in governance, risk, and compliance within a regulated environment.
* Strong knowledge of WHS, privacy, and risk management frameworks (ISO 45001 / ISO 31000 desirable).
* Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands‐on.
* Experience working with senior leaders and board‐level reporting.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement.
* Experience in education or government‐funded environments (desirable).
