We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Grounds Person at our Rolleston location, on a permanent full-time basis.
This role operates on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) roster of 2 weeks on, 1 week off.

Responsibilities:
Maintain the grounds of the Mining Village, including gardens, paths, and buildings.
Perform general works and maintenance programs such as mowing, general grounds works, grounds cleaning, and landfill activities.
Carry out waste and landfill duties as required and directed by management.
Ensure that works programs are maintained to the level set per contract specifications.
Maintain the safety of personnel and the public.
Undertake General Hand duties and Utility duties as required, including kitchen duties.

Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Safe Work Practices.
Experience in grounds work (mowing, weed spraying, etc.).
Ability to obtain a police check.
Hold or be willing to obtain a Queensland Coal Board Medical and functional assessment.
Ability to work in a team environment and in a fast-paced, time-managed environment.
Be conditioned to the extreme weather in Central QLD.
Australian driver’s license and reliable transport to get to the site.
Forklift license is desirable.
