Requirements
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, or related field.
3–5 years of HR management experience preferred. Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or service-oriented business is a plus.
Robust knowledge of BC labour and employment standards, and health & safety regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
Preference will be given to candidates with an interest and/or experience with social media marketing: creating content, managing platforms, employer branding, etc.
Duties
Oversee the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
Manage employee records.
Assist with payroll and benefit plans.
Ensure compliance with BC employment law, OH&S;, and internal policies.
Act as a resource regarding HR policies, conflict resolution, and performance issues.
Develop HR strategies to improve retention, engagement, and skilled growth.
Lead or support training programs, scheduling, and team development/staff meetings.
Social media marketing: preferred
Support the Practice Owners with administrative and operational projects.
