Summary Statement
The incumbent in this position will provide nursing services including, but not limited to: direct care, assessments, and facilitating health care services to residents. In addition, regular contact with individuals, families, nursing staff, physicians, and other departments as required.
Essential Functions

1. Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
2. Develops, implements and/or reviews nursing care plans.
3. Provides health care instruction and guidance to individuals, families, community groups and/or nursing home facilities in the management of their health care needs.
4. Maintains an effective working relationship with other members of the treatment team.
5. Prepares and submits records, reports, evaluations and forms.
6. Participates in and make recommendations regarding quality assurance activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Registered Nurse IApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
7. Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license, Delaware temporary license or multi-state compact license.

8. Possession of a Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing OR at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse.
9. Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Registered Nurse III
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
10. At least two years experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Masters degree or higher in Nursing.
11. Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.
