THE ROLE
Assist the Processing and Maintenance teams in daily operational activities as required and directed
Ensure remote field service equipment such as gensets, pumping systems, lighting towers, compressors are refuelled, serviced and maintained
Clean operational areas using mobile equipment around the plant such as IT loaders, bobcat and forklift work
Remote field fuel management – refuelling, recording fuel consumption and inspections.
Ensuring sufficient fuel levels are maintained for uninterrupted operation.
Carry out critical water-management monitoring, recording and pipeline inspections
Poly-pipe welding repairs and modifications executed as required
Actively participate in maintenance planning activities
Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto
Liaise with contractors and stakeholders as required
WHAT DO I NEED
Current C Class manual Western Australian drivers licence
Experience working within a gold or similar commodity processing plant
Poly welding ticket
Telehandler IT loader CN and LF tickets desirable
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment
Familiarity with the safe handling of fuel delivery and monitoring equipment
Experience in the installation and maintenance of pipelines, pumps & water transfer systems
Basic understanding of welding techniques and standards, particularly fusion welding for poly pipe
Experience with a computerised maintenance management system such as Pronto (desired)
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Excellent communication skills
A can-do, team-oriented attitude
Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
