We're now looking for a Part Time Early Childhood Teacher — or someone who's currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
This role is a fixed term role, commencing on the 11th of May 2026 and concluding on the 11th of May 2027 with the potential for opportunities to become available beyond this time.
Where you'll work
Located in Wonthaggi, White Rd Kindergarten provides a high-quality program that reflects the values of the local community. This Fixed Term position is ideal for an experienced Teacher who enjoys building strong relationships and bringing creativity, collaboration and connection to the team.
Early Childhood Teacher - Job Share role in 4yo Rotational group.
Fixed Term role - 11/5/2026 to 11/5/2027 (12 months)
Session Times - Thursday - 8:30am to 4:00pm
7.5 contact hours + 3.75 non-contact hours = 11.25 hours per week
Remaining non-contact time to be worked on another day, which will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

What You'll Bring
* Recognised Early Childhood Teacher qualification (or actively studying toward it) and current registration with VIT
* A genuine interest in supporting children's development and commitment to ongoing learning
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
* Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
