From monthly management reporting to M&A support and greenfield investment analysis, this is a high-impact role with broad exposure across one of ALS's most dynamic divisions.You'll lead financial performance reviews, build robust financial models, support investor relations activity, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence strategy at the highest levels of the organisation.## The Day to Day* Develop and deliver comprehensive monthly management reporting packs* Lead financial performance reviews with senior leadership (CEO, CFO, Head of FP&A)* Provide detailed and holistic analysis of business stream financial performance and actionable insights* Business partner with the Minerals EGM and leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking* Support preparation of financial content for investor and board presentations at half year and year end* Identify, monitor, and communicate key business drivers to support strategic discussions* Conduct financial modelling for greenfield investments, CAPEX, and ROI analysis* Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with capital investment decisions* Support M&A activity including due diligence, integration planning, and ongoing performance tracking* Implement advanced forecasting techniques and tools to improve forecast accuracy## The Essentials* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.* Minimum of 12 years' experience in a finance business partner role, preferably within a large, multinational organisation.* Strong experience in financial reporting, performance analysis, and managerial accounting.* Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.* Proficiency in financial software (Oracle, Pronto, TM1, IBM Planning Analytics Workspace) and advanced MS Excel skills.* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple geographies and manage multiple priorities.**Working at ALS**The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.At ALS, you'll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
