About the opportunity:
The Construction Coordinator is part of the Wilson Homes Construction team and reports to the State Building Manager. The key focus of this role is to support the clients during the construction of their home ensuring they have an enjoyable building experience. More specifically, you will:
1. Oversee job progress from ACC/File to Site through to Handover, ensuring communication and delivery expectations are met
2. Partner with key stakeholders to resolve complex construction, drafting, estimating, and project delivery issues
3. Support team members in managing owner and contract disputes in the first instance
4. Drive weekly construction meeting priorities, highlighting roadblocks and ensuring jobs progress smoothly
5. Initiate and manage Occupation Permit applications, liaising with councils and external authorities as required
6. Provide contractual support to Construction teams, ensuring variations and discrepancies are handled in line with company policy
7. Manage owner communication touchpoints and general administration, including handover packs and workflow inboxes
8. Monitor inspections, final
