Max Term Part-time (45.6 hours per fortnight) position until 30 June 2026, based at Sale. Increase fortnight take-home pay with access to $15,900 salary packaging benefits

Your new role

As a trainee, you will be expected to develop the skills and knowledge required to assist you to deliver high quality care to individuals who are seeking assistance to access emergency crisis accommodation or who are homeless or at risk of homelessness or experiencing family violence. In addition to achieving this level of capability, you will be expected to work towards completion of a Diploma level of study relevant to this sector.

Your skills and experience

* Working towards a Diploma in Community Services or related discipline.
* Willing to develop skills and attributes to work in the Homelessness sector.
* Willing to develop knowledge and understanding of legislation and policies relevant to the community services sector.
* Willing to develop knowledge of other areas of related need (e.g., family violence, mental health, criminal justice, AOD).
