About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will ensure our care environments remain clean, safe and welcoming — supporting a high standard of living for residents and a safe workplace for team members.
You will work closely with the Housekeeping Team Leader and care teams to maintain hygiene, comfort and dignity across all areas of the facility.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain cleanliness of resident areas, common spaces and equipment in line with infection‑control procedures.
* Complete daily cleaning routines including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing and bathroom cleaning.
* Operate cleaning machinery and equipment for general, heavy-duty, and specialised cleaning tasks.
* Manage waste removal, including emptying, cleaning and replacing bins safely.
* Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored correctly.
* Report maintenance issues promptly.
* Participate in audits, assessments and continuous improvement activities.
Support compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience delivering high‑quality housekeeping, ideally in aged care.
* Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and infection control.
* Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to resident wellbeing.
* Ability to maintain accurate cleaning records and follow organisational policies.
Mandatory Requirements
* National Police Check
* Pre‑employment medical assessment.
