Job Title: Senior Postal Delivery Officer
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Postal Delivery Officer. As a key member of our delivery network, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and parcels to our customers.
* Sort and deliver mail and small parcels daily;
* Responsible for covering multiple rounds with varying levels of complexity;
* Perform daily vehicle safety checks to ensure a safe working environment;
* Load and unload vehicles with deliveries for the day;
* Deliver mail and parcels in various weather conditions;
* Work closely with experienced Rider Mentors who are committed to your professional development.
About You
* Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence;
* Experience in the courier/delivery industry is advantageous but not mandatory;
* Be resilient and able to adapt to high volume and pressure situations;
* Flexible with working additional hours if required;
* Pass a mandatory and practical riding assessment;
* Have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and be physically fit to handle regular lifting of up to 16kgs of mail and parcels;
* Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less.
