Seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with Public Health experience

Our client is a large public health provider located in Nedlands.
Your current role
- Provides confidential assistance to the Executive Director, managing schedules, meetings, and communications.
- Screens and redirects emails and letters, drafts routine correspondence, and ensures timely responses.
- Communicates with internal departments and external agencies on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Receives and screens visitors and calls, making delegated decisions when appropriate.
- Organises meetings/functions, prepares agendas, records minutes, and follows up on action items.
- Maintains secure and confidential filing systems (physical and electronic), ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Advises staff on procedures, monitors workflows, and improves office efficiency.
- Conducts information searches, updates web content, and assists with HR systems, including MyHR.
- Adheres to the WA Health Code of Conduct, safety standards, and legislative obligations.
- Supports continuous improvement, safe patient care, and participates in mandatory training and service development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven administrative and secretarial expertise at an executive level.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage projects independently.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High-level verbal and written communication, with confidence liaising across all staff levels.
- Skilled in handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and other software, with strong word processing capabilities.
- Familiarity with complex healthcare environments is desirable.

What you'll get in return
- 6 week temporary position
- Level G4 equivalent hourly rate + superannuation
- Full-time hours Monday to Friday
