About The Opportunity
As a Heavy Diesel Technician, you'll take the lead on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of trucks and trailers using cutting-edge tools and a proven workflow. You'll be part of a dedicated and high-performing service team focused on delivering exceptional results for clients and maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs
* Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance across a range of heavy vehicles
* Completing job cards and service documentation efficiently
* Using modern diagnostic systems and staying updated with industry innovations
* Maintaining accurate records for parts used and work completed
* Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent service outcomes
About You
You're a qualified and experienced diesel mechanic with strong diagnostic capabilities, attention to detail, and a passion for doing the job right. You enjoy working in a supportive environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are key.
To be successful, you will have:
* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience with heavy diesel vehicles
* Proficiency in diagnostics, fault finding, and servicing practices
