Page Transport is seeking a Boilermaker Welder to join our team in Carrick, Tasmania. Not qualified but have an interest? We are happy to take on apprentices This full‑time position is integral to the success of our Trades & Services operations, playing a key role in the fabrication and maintenance of specialised equipment.
What you'll be doing
Perform high‑quality welding and fabrication on our fleet including livestock trailers, tautliners and various assets.
Maintain equipment, tools and the workshop to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our welding and fabrication processes.
Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to the required standard.
What we're looking for
A passion for fabrication and/or willingness to learn.
If qualified, demonstrated expertise in MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and ability to work safely at all times.
