The Opportunity
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital. From patient rooms to shared spaces, your work will ensure our clinic remains a safe and supportive environment for recovery and care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and hospital facilities to a high standard.
Making patient beds and distributing linen.
Cleaning, restocking, and safely storing equipment.
Working collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals.
Communicating effectively with nursing staff and colleagues.
About You
You are reliable, motivated, and take pride in delivering excellent housekeeping services. With a strong work ethic and a positive, "can do" attitude, you enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to manage tasks independently.
You will bring:
Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (minimum 2 years highly regarded).
Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting (highly regarded).
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently.
A professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature.
Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + Casual Loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
